Dressed for success

Kate and Liv have been very thoughtful about what they are wearing to school. For the first few days, they just picked their favorite "back-to-school" clothes (see in the photos on the day they rode the bus for the first time).  This week has been a different story. We had "le jour des cercles" (circle day), rouge jour (red day), jaune jour (yellow day) and vert jour (green day). That has meant searching for socks, sweaters, coats and everything else with the day's theme. Not easy with two girls who love pink, purple, blue and brown (and whose wardrobes reflect that).

But... they succeeded. I meant to get pictures of each day, but only got red and yellow. Still... you can imagine the scene (the mess!) as they picked through their clothes to find the thing that was "just right". All in the name of learning!
