Some pictures of the journey so far

Here are a few photos so far. The first one shows all the bags before leaving Lethbridge (although we shed one large one in Colorado -- it's still beaucoup de baggage!)

The next two show the kids playing with some cool wax sticks given by friends before we left while waiting for the flight from Denver. You can also see me blogging, John working, and the kids watching a cartoon on my computer (not pulled out til hour three of the four hour wait).

Here is a blurry photo of the 777 -- a beautiful piece of machinery (even if I always kind of wonder how it doesn't just fall out of the sky.)

Trying to capture the excitement of riding underwater (to me, it looked a lot like a tunnel. To the kids -- it was SO COOL.)

And here is the FANCY hotel. In the first shot, you can see the kids watching a movie before they even unbuttoned their coats.  Then, there is a photo of me emailing our parents and  a shot of our cool room (even the trash can had an interesting design).

And at last, riding the TGV to Lyon on Friday morning.
