We're returning to one of the most beautiful places in the world -- Burgundy, France -- this time for just four weeks. But after two years away from baguettes, vineyards, fromage and fantastic friends, we're thrilled to be there at all.
Sadly, this time it was just a sudden downpour. The picture doesn't do justice to the wetness of all four. Maybe I should have take the photo of them hiding behind the drying rack with all of their sopping clothes!
I know I'm supposed to be looking at the adorable wet kids, but OMGosh that HOUSE! Is that where you're staying? Those doors that just open up and make the outside part of the living room! And that chair in the corner! Is the whole place like that? I'm dying for it! :-)
Geraldine -- the pasta salad sounds good... I will get you the complete recipe when we get back to Canada.
Beth -- that is everyone's favorite room in the house. It was a later addition to the back and looks out on the garden (which is GORGEOUS -- roses everywhere!) and we eat there, read there, do the kids' schoolwork there, etc. The rest of the house is a bit more dark and crowded -- but this is definitely the best room in the house.
